A simple way to receive and complete AFIX jobs.
AFIX handles the customer booking, pricing and coordination so you can focus on the plumbing.
When a suitable AFIX job becomes available, you’ll receive the job offer by SMS. The message will include the key job details, such as: - Service required - General job information - Booking window - Area or suburb - Expected payment details You can choose whether or not to accept the job.
If you want the job, simply reply YES to the AFIX SMS and include a 1-hour arrival timeframe within the customer’s booked appointment window. For example, if the customer has booked 10:00am–2:00pm, you might reply with availability for 11:00am–12:00pm. Replying YES does not guarantee the job. If you are selected and assigned the job, AFIX will send you a confirmation with the customer’s full job details.
After being selected for the job, you’ll receive the information needed to attend the booking, including: - Customer name - Property address - Contact details - Full job information - Any photos or notes provided by the customer - Relevant booking instructions Review the details before attending so you can arrive prepared.
Arrive within your confirmed timeframe and complete the booked service professionally. If the job can be completed within the original scope, simply complete the work as booked.
If extra labour, materials, parts or a different service is required, explain the change to the customer before continuing. If the customer would like to check the additional cost, refer them to the SERVICES section on the AFIX website for current pricing. Once the customer agrees, you can continue with the work. Any agreed changes must then be reported to AFIX after the job.
Once the job is complete, submit the AFIX Job Completion Form within 1 hour. Include the work completed, any extra labour or materials, receipts, photos, and any agreed service changes. This allows AFIX to finalise the invoice and begin payment.
Once the required job information has been submitted and the job has been processed, AFIX arranges your payment in line with the applicable plumber payment terms.
AFIX is designed to make every job simpler from start to finish.
AFIX operates Monday to Sunday, 7:00am – 5:00pm. Weekend bookings, including Saturday and Sunday, are charged at higher rates than weekday bookings. AFIX does not currently offer services outside of these operating hours.
